Self-Awareness for Everyone
Applied Guidance for Mindfulness
Meet Your Host
I am MJ Blehart - a dreamer, philosopher, geek, writer, editor, amateur photographer, and medieval fencer/herald/
re-enactor. I’ve been writing fiction since I was 9 and have been blogging regularly for more than 10 years.
I believe that Consciousness Creates Reality. Thus, I’m certain that we have the power to make our lives into whatever we believe we can. And that begins with self-awareness.
I have the pleasure of serving as your guide through easy-to-use mindfulness tools, conscious reality creation, and other devices for unselfish self-awareness.
Currently, I live in New Jersey (near Philadelphia) with my wife and two feline overlords (cats).
S4 Ep1: Why Are Feelings and Emotions in a Constant State of Flux?
Feelings and emotions are in a constant state of flux because they’re always in a state of change.
No matter what you plan – you have no control over what might occur. Random happenstance might utterly shock and surprise you. The feelings and emotions in that moment just are. And they occurred as part of life’s constant state of motion.
While you can choose your feelings and emotions, it’s only possible at this moment, in the here and now.
Acknowledging Impermanence and Change
Change is inevitable, and impermanence is reality .
The one and only constant in the Universe is change.
Change can, will, and does occur all the time. No two moments are the same. Alike, maybe, but the same? No. That’s how frequently change occurs.
Everything and everyone you know changes. It’s a constant, a given, a universal fact, and proof of impermanence.
Recognizing and Acknowledging When You Need to Change
Choosing to change begins with recognition and acknowledgment.
Change happens. It’s the only constant in the universe. As always, you have a choice of approach and the direction for you to make.
Is The Ability to Choose Change a Superpower?
When all is said and done – I can only change myself.
You can only change yourself. Choosing to change is your superpower. And while there might be repercussions and unexpected consequences – in the end, you could develop a better, healthier relationship with yourself and the world around you.
Any Control of Change Starts with Ourselves
We can only control change of anything via ourselves first
First and foremost – let’s recognize, acknowledge, and accept that change is the only constant in the Universe.
Here’s the thing – we can only control our lives. Our selves. You and I have no power over anyone else. And to be honest – that’s more than enough power.
