This week’s guest is Scarlett Arana. Scarlett was featured as one of the Top 100 women of the future. She’s an FIU and UF graduate – cofounder of BitBasel. She’s spearheaded numerous initiatives, has a hand in space tech, and is an SDG-14 UN Ambassador.

Scarlett has helped to teach multiple artists and creators how to use emerging technologies in the NFT space.

Scarlett talks about how art and blockchain can generate impact. She explains Regenerative defi – how you create impact that empowers artists with creating different initiatives. She explains SDGs - Sustainable Development goals.

Refi – a way to impact climate change, gender equality, and the like to measure initiatives such as carbon clean-up.

Regenerative is a means to identify where energy comes from –specifically renewable energy.

Scarlett explains BitBasel and what they do.

She defines artificial intelligence (AI) and the algorithms it uses through machine learning (ML) – and how it is often misunderstood, as well as how it gets applied to blockchain and the work that goes into creating with it.

Scarlett goes on to talk about the creator economy and how it ties into art, blockchain, and impact as such.
